Several years ago, I read John Piper's <em><a href="http://www.desiringgodstore.org/store/index.cgi?cmd=view_item&amp;parent=126&amp;id=60" target="_new">Desiring God</a></em>. It was huge in my life as it helped me understand the character and nature of God better, as well as my role in His Kingdom. It was a dynamic exposition of scripture.<br /><br />Well, this book by Brian McLaren is having the same mind-bending, paradigm-shifting effect on my worldview, but from a different perspective. Been reading a chapter a day... We're going to use this book as a primary resource at our church this month, beginning the week after spring break.
